Our Love Story

When We First Met
Who would’ve thought a simple Snapchat friend request back in 2016 would lead to a lifetime of love? Back then, we were just two people laughing at each other’s posts, building a friendship without knowing what the future had in store.

We Fell in Love
In February of 2019, something shifted. Our conversations grew deeper, and the connection between us became undeniable. What started as friendship slowly turned into something more. By Valentine’s Day 2020, love had completely taken over. Chris flew me out to California, and from the moment I landed, he made me feel like the most loved, most spoiled girl in the world…and honestly, he still does.

We Moved to California
A few months later, in June 2020, he made another bold move. Tired of long-distance and missing our little family, Chris asked me and Blue to move from Charlotte to California to be with him. He looked my parents in the eye and promised he’d take care of us…and he’s never once broken that promise.

Our Family Expanded
We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Nevaeh Kelis Za’ria, into the world, and with her arrival, everything changed. Watching Chris become a dad that stepped up for blue has been one of the most beautiful parts of our journey. I’ve seen him grow from a boyfriend to a partner, and from a partner into a strong, steady man devoted to his family.

The Proposal
Then came April 2022. We were celebrating Nevaeh’s first birthday, and out of nowhere, Chris dropped to one knee and proposed. I was completely shocked! Ashley had taken me ring shopping “just for fun,” and I had no idea it was for me. That girl’s got skills…I should’ve known something was up!

We Moved to Texas
Most recently, on May 30, 2024, we packed up and moved to Texas for a fresh start, full of big dreams and new memories to make.

Our Love Story Continues
From a Snapchat connection to soul-deep love, our journey has been full of surprises, laughter, and unwavering commitment…And the best part? We’re just getting started.
